St Andrews Ballina | Welcome
Party Prepare  …meeting the needs of the ageing community and those of the next generation – the baby boomers.
Outing

St Andrew’s Village, Ballina originated from bequests and work by the parishioners of both the Ballina Anglican and Presbyterian Churches. Today, St Andrew’s is governed by a dedicated community Board of Directors drawn from various professional and business backgrounds, who all have a commitment to achieving the highest quality of care for residents.

As a provider of aged care for 23 years, St Andrew’s has expanded in accordance with identified needs for the care of the aged residents in the area. Our recent $11.6 million environmentally sensitive re-development was planned with the latest technologies and services to meet not only current needs of the ageing community but those of the next generation of aged care – the baby boomers.

St Andrew's has a commitment to reducing its environmental footprint and, in doing so, improving the quality of care delivered to our residents.

St Andrew's is located in the heart of the town of Ballina, next door to the acute services provided by Ballina Hospital, which is currently building a facility to accommodate transitional and rehabilitation beds.

The shopping facilities are no further than two blocks away. The Bowling Club which offers services to St Andrew's is across the road. Transport is at the front door and the Medical Centres are a short distance away,  offering pathology, radiology, medical practitioners and a further variety of medical services.

St Andrew’s has 60 High Care beds under the same roof as the Low Care facility, which allows for ease of transfer of residents from Low Care to High Care to receive a continuous appropriate standard of care.

St Andrew's welcomes close family involvement with the residents. Family members are encouraged to visit on a regular basis and assist in the caring of their relative. During the year family members are invited for specific functions, which include Easter and Christmas, to help celebrate these occasions with their loved one.
